Description
This is the paid version of the Trump parody book Donald the Pig Thought He Was a King. Both Fahrenheit and Celsius versions are included. This version is for those who enjoyed the book and understand the threat that America faces so wish to contribute.
As for the book itself, there are several enhancements that improve the pace and humor. The cover matches the eventual physical book’s cover–a ‘Donald the Pig’ bust with the full title of the book. In lieu of the ‘FREE VERSION’ text there is an image of a broken White House with an embedded ‘Thank You’ message for purchasing the book and contributing to the cause followed by unscathed founding documents (The Constitution and Declaration of Independence). Additionally, the 13th page is removed, leaving the story to stand on its own, without distractions. All of this creates a cleaner, more cohesive reading experience (a good choice for those who will print out a copy to read (several people have told us that they read this book to their children) while waiting for the physical book to be offered). Most importantly, at least 25% of profits go to help our fight against the rise of authoritarianism in the United States. For the foreseeable future, the rest will be used to build this project.
Additionally, anyone who spends any money on our website receives ‘voter’ rights. If this project is successful and we have significant funds to contribute, then we intend to offer a stipend to a professor who is knowledgeable about authoritarianism and who has good ideas to realistically fight it, considering whatever resources we will have at that time. Such a person will be best equipped to spend your money most effectively. This is far too serious to think we’re smarter than the experts, at this time in history.
Most people probably won’t care too much, but it is your money and our fate. So it is out of idealism, in essence, that this means something to us. If interested, you would spend a night or two on some kind of conferencing software (on your computer) listening to professors make a case for how they believe authoritarianism should be fought. After listening to all of them, you can ask questions and interact with them via the computer and then vote on who you think would be most effective.
Purchasing this digital edition is the best way you can help to get this project off the ground since it’s virtually all profit (minus what the card processor takes). For the foreseeable future, all funds will go right back toward building this project from ground zero.
And you’ll know that you contributed to a sincere effort to counteract what’s going on in America and you’ll know that this imagery will be spread further (we contend that is very important, as well). Trump’s unfettered ego is annoying, but–by itself–is inconsequential. It’s the pig’s unfettered ambition that is the issue because it seems his ambitions (or his puppet master’s ambitions–if he is compromised, as Hillary adeptly claimed 10 years ago) necessarily revolve around destruction and internal conflict of our political system (and even social cohesion). It’s really disgraceful what he’s doing and we have to do everything we can, big and small, to prevent this country from becoming a fascistic dystopia. We sincerely apologize for our bluntness, but the time for niceties has passed–this stuff is far too serious, it truly is.
If you enjoy the book and want to help, please consider purchasing/donating to our project. If enough people do, this small book project may collectively generate enough to really help in the greater fight in a very significant way.
